I’m curled up on the floor, shaking from head to toe.
Tears are streaming down my face, my body is reeling with pangs of guilt
and shame.
I’ve just yelled at my kids again, screaming at them like a commanding
dictator, watching the hurt and fear flash in their eyes.
“What’s wrong with me?” My mind is reeling in disbelief. How could a
mother do this to her own kids?
I know this rage, this fully justified but uncontrollable force—because I’ve
felt it before.
I saw it in my father’s eyes when he disciplined me.
I heard it in his voice when he demanded perfection.
And now, here I am, carrying the same torch, repeating the cycle.
This has to stop.
● I couldn’t keep living this way.
● I knew I had to find the root of this anger, this pain.
● I needed to heal—not just for my children, but for me.
A Moment of Transformation
I stand in my kitchen, heart pounding in fear as my kids play video games
instead of doing their homework. Feeling frustrated and powerless I watch
as anger bubbles up—again. My hands start to tighten into fists.
But instead of yelling, I stop.
I breathe.
I remember.
The teachings I’ve immersed myself in flood my mind:
Power over control, judgment and shame—they’ve lived in my family for
generations.
These emotions aren’t just mine—they’re echoes of my ancestors’ trauma,
passed down like heirlooms.
Untold traumas of incest and rape left behind scars of powerlessness,
undeservingness, and a deep, buried rage..
I close my eyes and imagine the chains breaking.
I feel my heart softening, my breath slowing, the weight lifting.
And for the first time, I feel something new:
Power—not the commanding, fear-based power I grew up with, but a calm,
gentle strength of heart warmed understanding and compassion. The
influence that empowers and heals instead of demeans or destroys.
Tears of gratitude and peace flow from my heart. My journey of deep
spiritual healing and transformation has finally become totally worthwhile.
The Miracles of Healing
As I healed the wounds in my heart, something extraordinary began to
happen.
Anger dissolved, making room for understanding, deservingness and
mutual respect.
Shame lifted, freeing me to be my authentic self and calmly speak my truth.
Guilt disappeared, leaving me light, happy and free.
The shift wasn’t just personal—it touched every area of my life.
My sons began to trust me,
Feel safe,
Open up,
I trust myself as a parent,
A creator of prosperity
A new thought leader of awakened consciousness
Anger is now channeled to fuel self respect and personal value.
My need to enforce control now enforces faith in my future.
With an open heart and renewed belief in myself, I realized that healing the
relationships within my family had awakened and solidified leadership skills
that had been buried deep within my soul.
To my surprise, this transformation began to infuse my business and life
with deep meaning and purpose.
Soul Purpose Leadership is an authentic way of being that empowers
and motivates me— and now my clients-–to uplevel our businesses, and
create meaningful impact, so we can leave the lasting legacy we were born
to fulfill.
Two Sides of the Same Wound
When I realized I was being too commanding—a dictator to my kids, a drill
sergeant in my home—I made a vow: I will never be mean again.
But the problem was I didn’t know another way to lead.
So I swung to the opposite extreme. I became so heart-centered, so
focused on avoiding conflict, that I stopped advocating for myself entirely.
Boundaries disappeared.
My time, energy, and worth were sacrificed.
I confused being accommodating with being loving.
I fell in love with a married man
I people pleased so much that I didn't please anyone, including myself.
I couldn’t earn a livable income
Instead of inspiring, influencing and creating abundance, I was left feeling
depleted, taken advantage of, and financially powerless.
The Common Wound
What I’ve come to understand is this:
The controlling, commanding, high achieving entrepreneur and the
heart-centered, super sensitive empath business owner are actually two
sides of the same coin.
Both are held back by the same unhealed wound:
A lack of self-love, self-respect, and trust in their own leadership power.
● High Achieving Entrepreneurs tend to build walls of control and
logic to shield themselves from vulnerability. They fear that showing
understanding or compassion will make them weak, so they
unconsciously lead through justified dominance, often unaware of the
emotional damage they create.
The result? They often alienate the very people they want to inspire
and don’t understand why their spouses, children, teams, or followers
feel scared, defensive, or separate from them.
● Heart-Centered Empaths are compelled to overextend themselves,
avoiding boundaries for fear of being seen as hurtful or unkind. They
mistake helpful people-pleasing for love and compassion and look for
validation outside of themselves.
The result? They feel resentful, undervalued, critically judged and
unable to create prosperity and fulfill the mission of their soul..
My Unique Perspective
I understand the 2 sides of these coins intimately because I’ve been both.
There were times when I unconsciously embodied the narcissistic, high
achieving leader, who was critical to correct and enforced control as a fully
justified way to help and get things done. Underneath these bully-like
actions was a lack of self love, self respect and personal value that fed into
my fear of failure.
And there were times I swung to the other extreme, unconsciously
embodying the victimized, heart-centered empath who stayed small
because “of what happened” and gave away all of myself in search of love,
acceptance and connection.
Neither worked.
But when I realized the damage I was doing to my kids and to myself, I
made it my mission to become conscious and heal my core wounds.
As I grew my sense of self love and value, everything changed. I upgraded
my self-respect, self-esteem, and began to trust my own heart.
I accepted my “oddball” unique capabilities as my Divine gifts and trusted in
my personal power to create the vision of my soul.
The Transformational Bridge of Your Soul’s Purpose
For sensitive, empathic entrepreneurs and high-achieving leaders, the
healing journey is the same. It’s about becoming deeply aware of who you
are at the level of your soul.
The purpose of your soul is simple: to love. To love and accept every part
of yourself so fully that you can serve others from a place of genuine,
unconditional love.
Healing is about recognizing and aligning with the unique combination of
traits, gifts, and genius you’ve been wired to share—and letting go of
everything that contradicts your truth.
Soul Purpose Leadership is a path of personal power, heartfelt service,
and unconditional love designed to evolve humanity.
Side Effects of Soul Purpose Leadership include:
● Fulfillment
● Peace
● Joy
● Happiness
● The Freedom to Flourish
Embracing who you truly are is an act of deep self-love. It creates the
space to release past stories of lack, betrayal, and limitation, allowing you
to step fully into the freedom and power of your soul’s purpose.
● For the High Achieving: The gifts of your soul purpose lies in your
charismatic strength, effectiveness and organized structure, but true
power comes when you pair it with heart centered understanding and
vision. Compassion doesn’t diminish your authority—it elevates it.
● For the Heart-Centered: The gifts of your soul purpose are your
empathic sensitivities, and true impact comes when you protect
yourself with strong energetic boundaries that define your worth and
influence. Building self-love creates unshakable power for your heart
to activate latent leadership skills of confidence, boldness, courage
and fearless faith.
When both types of leaders heal their wounds and trust their personal
power, they become Soul Purpose Leaders who step into their highest
levels of influence, impact, and fulfillment.
Healing family relationships awakens your inner Soul Purpose Leader,
empowering you to lead with:
● Self-respect to honor your boundaries and values.
● Self-esteem to trust your worthiness to lead and be loved.
● Trust in love and personal power to take bold, inspired actions and
influence from a place of authenticity and alignment.
The Ripple Effect of Transformation
Once I integrated these lessons, everything in my life upgraded.
● At Home: My family relationships became more loving, trusting and
close.
● In Business: I became clearer with my message, bolder with my
actions, more effective and influential as a leader. Month after month
my Soul Purpose Leader drives prosperity and increasing profitability.
● In Life: I feel healthy, happy, and free to be true to myself, my
intentions and live my life abundantly.
By healing my heart and integrating these two extremes, the power of Soul
Purpose Leadership emerged as a new conscious, compassionate and
loving way to lead effectively—one that’s grounded, authentic, and aligned
with purpose, meaning and positive impact for humanity and the world.
Closing Thought:
Healing my family wounds wasn’t just about mending relationships; it was
about reclaiming my power to lead, create, and inspire that I was born for.
Now, I’m living proof that when you heal your heart, you transform your
world—from your home to your business to the legacy you leave behind.
Leadership doesn’t have to be about control or sacrifice.
You can let your heart lead, and trust it with steadfast faith and commit to
fulfill your soul’s mission with bold courage.
When you lead from a place of heart centered wholeness—with strong
energetic boundaries, deep compassion, and unshakable self-respect—you
don’t just create success; you can create your legacy.
And it all starts with healing the heart and giving your soul the freedom it
longs for.
The freedom to create.
The freedom to lead.
And the freedom to love.
